It's all over(criminologist from UFV)

Submitted by David Borden on
That was the statement made by long time police spokesperson and criminologist Daryl Plecas just before several top gangsters were arrested on Friday. It took till 11pm for the first shot in the war to fill the positions vacated by those arrested. As of 5PM tonite(Sunday, april 5 2009)the second body was found in his vehicle, dead behind the wheel.I have blogs on this site and on my blogspot site([email protected])stating that this was exactly the way it would go should police ever actually make some arrests.Prohibitions are not ended by police actions. We see the results of a society in which a large percentage of the population have no respect for law and see police as the enemy. It has been said that in the savings and loan scandal things were contained because 90% of the players were still of some principal. This time the corruption was right from the top all the way through,at about 80% just out for the quick buck. How much of this loss of character can be traced to a society that feels the laws are unfair and beneath contempt? This has to end soon or there's no way to predict where it will lead. When the leaders of our learning institutions are simply mouth pieces for the police, what will people learn. It's pretty obvious Mr. Plecas has a pretty unfortunate view of the drug war and how criminal organizations are formed and operate. ment
